Winter Riding in NYC: Snow, Snow and More Snow
In our Best Rides of the Year post Charlie Bird wrote about some of those magical days on the bike where the good and bad of legs and weather fade into the background and the ride simply becomes pure bliss. With temperatures in the low 20's and a constant, biting snowfall, this ride is perhaps an odd candidate for that list. But with empty roads and only the sound of the falling snow, this ride was the perfect five and a half hour escape.
